Calcio Bolus

Calcio bolus is a preparation designed to combat calcium and phosphorus deficiency. A significant deficiency of calcium in the diet may cause hypocalcemia, a disease dairy cows are particularly exposed to. It may cause apathy or lack of appetite, which is also typical for phosphorus deficiencies, yet, they may additionally lead to a decrease in milk yield and downer syndrome. In order to keep the cow healthy and maintain high productivity, supplementation with calcium and phosphorus is necessary.

dicalcium phosphate, magnesium phosphate, palm oil, Yucca Mojave, inulin, calcium propionate

Dosage

Cows: 1 bolus 12h before calving, 1 bolus 12h after calving.
